About Ellora

I am a highly motivated and competitive student who is passionate about writing and communication. Much of my time is spent reading, writing, editing, and refining my work, whether for school, personal projects, competitions, or extracurricular activities.

I particularly enjoy the process of editing and revision. Strong writing is not just about having good ideas—it's about knowing how to shape those ideas into clear, engaging, and effective pieces. Through years of writing and rewriting my own work, I have developed a keen eye for detail and an understanding of what makes writing stand out.

Beyond academics, I am actively involved in activities that strengthen critical thinking, communication, and creativity. These experiences have taught me the value of discipline, perseverance, and continuous improvement—qualities that I aim to encourage in every student I work with.

As someone who genuinely enjoys helping others succeed, I find it rewarding to see students gain confidence in their abilities and take pride in their progress. My goal is to make learning both enjoyable and empowering while helping students develop skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom.

About the lesson

I specialise in helping primary school students develop advanced writing skills that go beyond the classroom. My goal is not only to improve grammar and structure, but to help students craft original, engaging, and sophisticated pieces that stand out.

Lessons focus on creative writing, persuasive writing, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, and editing techniques. Students learn how to generate strong ideas, write with purpose, and refine their work through detailed feedback and revision. I place particular emphasis on the editing process, teaching students how to identify weaknesses in their own writing and elevate it to a higher standard.

As a student at North Sydney Girls High School, I understand the level of writing expected in selective school environments. I can also provide guidance for selective school preparation, helping students strengthen the creative and persuasive writing skills that are essential for success.

Lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether they are aiming to improve school performance, prepare for selective school entry, enter writing competitions, or simply become more confident and capable writers.
