About Carter
Performing at the Curtis Institute of Music shaped my view of artistic precision. I focus on technical clarity through posture and hand position. My 13 years of teaching includes ear training and sight transposition work.
I guide students through pop, contemporary, and accompaniment skills while ensuring they build sight playing habits. Playing music feels most natural when the theory makes sense to the performer. I admit that I am a stickler for the smallest details in a score.
