About Joanne

I’m a chemistry enthusiast on a mission to make sure chemistry is enjoyed not endured! No one likes to sit through a lecture so I make sure there’s a balanced mix of instruction, interactive feedback, educational quizzes and live marked exam questions.

About the lesson

I LOVE Chemistry. It's my aim to bring it to life in a way that sparks the ignition for you to love both the practical and theoretical side of the subject. I aim to reduce complex concepts to its simplest components in order to make it comprehensible and enjoyable. Hour long lessons work best for the most efficient use of attention span and productivity. My techniques are interactive, student led and tailored to unique needs of individuals. I combine refreshing knowledge of content with practising exam technique through guided modelling, shared work, building up to students being confident enough to independently answer any question well. I have taught Chemistry for 10 years and have consistently excellent results. I prefer tutoring GCSE Chemistry and combined science and I am happy to teach younger years who want to boost their confidence in the subject.
