About Hunter
English is my second language, and as such I understand how intimidating it can be to master its complexities. My background of Afrikaans, English and studying French has provided me with a love for understanding the foundations of language and linguistics. I have always been a passionate writer, particularly of fiction pieces, but also for journalism and essay structure.
As someone who had to overcome working with ADHD and autism themselves, I understand how difficult it can be to focus or find the motivation to engage in a writing pathway. With the right tools and self-application, I am now pursuing a higher education with the hopes of obtaining a master's in my field.

My lessons will typically range from 1-2 hours, depending on the parents request and students needs. I have years of experience in educating and motivating secondary students in need. In particular, for any students in grade 7-12 wishing to advance themselves in English writing. Whether it's for exams, assignments, homework or simply helpful tips on understanding text genre. I have profound experience in working with students with ADHD and autism, as well as other learning disabilities. My adaptability and patience nurtures a positive learning environment, allowing for appropriate guidance whilst still giving my students a sense of achievement when reaching their goals.
