About Jessica
I am currently a student majoring in Secondary Education in English. While I have never given professional lessons before, I am currently studying teaching methods and procedures at my University, where I am gaining experience through hands-on interactions with students. I have consistently been on the Dean's List at my University, and I pride my self on my advanced academic English skills.

My teaching method is to give an overall, detailed explanation of each topic. I try to touch on the topic from every angle and address things I know will raise questions or are a cause for concern. Then, I work the student individually to address his/her personal concerns. While some students are visual learners and others are auditory learners, I believe a combination of visual and auditory instructions make for the strongest lessons. The topic will be easier to grasp and understand if it is both shown and explained to the student. As a tutor, I am friendly, open, and approachable. There is no such thing as a dumb question. I will never put a student down for asking a question or not understanding something.
