About Myra
Hi! My name’s Myra, and I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science/Law (Honors) at La Trobe University. I’m passionate about helping others learn in a way that feels engaging, clear, and confidence-building. I tutor students in science subjects (especially biology, chemistry, and human health) as well as English, writing, and humanities for those who want to strengthen their communication and critical thinking skills. I also enjoy helping with study techniques, essay writing, and exam preparation, drawing on what’s worked for me throughout university. As someone who’s deeply involved in student leadership and community work, I understand how challenging balancing studies and life can be — so I aim to create a friendly, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking their time to truly understand concepts. I believe learning should feel encouraging and empowering, not intimidating. My goal as a tutor is to help you build confidence, develop effective study habits, and discover your own love for learning.
