About Shams
Biology has been central to my academic life for over ten years, and that passion comes through in how I teach it. Whether I'm working with a middle schooler encountering cells for the first time or a university student preparing for a final exam, I adapt my style to fit the learner, using visuals, relatable examples, and active exercises to make concepts click. Every session is structured but flexible: we review, build on new ideas, and reinforce them in ways that feel relevant and real.

Medical student and MSc graduate with a passion for science education. I bring graduate-level research experience and clinical training into a teaching style that is patient, rigorous, and genuinely student-focused. I tailor my approach to each student's strengths while helping them tackle the areas they find most difficult.

Shams tutored me in Biology and Chemistry during my undergrad studies (Cell Bio, Orgo). I have nothing but good things to say about her! She's an extremely welcoming and accommodating tutor, who met me where I was at and coached me through difficult topics without judgement. I'm eternally grateful to her and recommend her services :)
