About Shaheer
I'm a second-year medical student with a degree in biomedical engineering, and I spent several years doing research in the field with published work to show for it.
Engineering shaped how I approach problems. When something doesn't work, you break the system down, figure out which part is failing, and test it. That's how I study medicine too — I don't memorize a list of symptoms; I try to understand why the body does what it does, and the details start following on their own. It also means I've been through high-level math and science coursework, so I'm comfortable with the quantitative side that trips a lot of students up.
As a second-year student, I can help with more than just the material. I've been through applications, entrance exams, study systems, board prep, and figuring out which resources are worth paying for and which aren't. If you're heading toward medicine, I can tell you what the path actually looks like from someone who's currently on it.
I prepare for every session, show up on time, and I'll be honest with you if something isn't working.

I'm a second-year medical student. Before this, I worked as a biomedical engineer doing published research on shunts and cerebrospinal fluid.
My approach is simple. First, I find out the content gaps in a student's understanding, then we fix those gaps one at a time. This is what I had to do for myself, and I got better at spotting my own weak points and working on them.
Between sessions, I'll give you specific things to practice. I'll also share my own notes from medical school so you can get ahead of your peers in terms of understanding and experience.
