About Rachel
I studied Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Toronto, in which I took a year of anatomy and learnt about the basic anatomic structures in various body systems. In my first year of medicine, I was taught the anatomy of respiratory, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, endocrine, reproductive, renal, digestive and nervous system. I also have various dissection experience in which I got to prepare cadavers for teaching or examination purposes.

I will first try to get to know the student more before commencing our tutorial sessions. For instance, I would want to know why they would want assistance from me, what they would want to take away from the sessions, which system(s) they would want to focus on, etc. I usually learn anatomy by drawing and looking at different materials online to familiarise myself with the names of the structures and the relative anatomic positions of one structure to another. That way it will help students to understand anatomy in a three dimensional setting.
