About Varun
Hello Everyone!
My name is Varun, I'm a second-year student at the London School of Economics working towards a BSc in Geography with Economics and I'd love to help you with your academic journies :)
Exams are daunting, there's no way around them - I was once in your situation too, and believe me they were equally as stressful. I was once a student achieving C's and D's in my Mock A-Level exams but this changed over the course of 3 months by applying specialised revision techniques which enabled me to receive 2 A*s and an A in my final grade.
Beyond academia, I love to play chess and this has led me to become the First Board player for LSE in University Competitions. If you love chess as much as I do, I can guide you along my own chess journey to being the best.

My approach has been grounded in years of experience and is bespoke to each student's needs and goals. I adopt a disciplined approach with clearly structured lessons based on the general curriculum, focusing on the fundamentals before the flash. Lessons typically last one hour for a 1-1 client while group sessions are generally 2 to encompass all abilities. I am capable of teaching ages 10-18; I am a qualified primary school chess teacher with prior experience in private chess tutoring between the ages of 10-12, experienced at the GCSE level having taught English Language and Literature and A-Level Economics for elder years. More niche experiences include Personal Statement guidance for university admissions as well as Debate coaching
