About Merlyn
Hey, my name is Merlyn! I am a second-year biomedical science student in university. Although I am a biology and chemistry student now, growing up, I’ve always had a deep love for English and literature. I constantly had my nose stuck in a book and spent several break times at the library. My love for reading ultimately led me to develop a wide range of vocabulary from primary school. This pushed me to excel in several standardized tests, as well as high school NCEA English exams, where I was awarded top in the subject at my school, a year early. I love English and the creative aspect it introduces to language, so I really hope to help students develop a better understanding and enjoyment for the subject, just as I had!
