About Luhana
I am a second year biomed student as mentioned. I went to high school in South Africa and then moved to UK where I won the best science student award at bellerbys college Brighton and got given an excellence scholarship to Sussex. I may need to revise to help younger grades but don’t worry I’ve been helping my friends study since beginning of college, writing massive And colourful A3 notes with drawings tend to work for me! But not everybody, so that’s what some of what we will be figuring out in the first lesson.

My teaching method will depend on whom I’m tutoring, I test the waters to see what works best. Weather it’s practice questions/testing, or outdoor learning, joined note taking, etc.
It also will depend on your study level, I learned that A-level is more about past papers than anything else, specially for chemistry.
So my plan is to outline a study plan that works for you after the first free lesson.
I have friends that cannot sit still and learn in conventional ways so I will adapt to whatever suits you best, therefore communication is key! Don’t be afraid to tell me you don’t understand, and if you already know what works for you let me know!
When teaching in groups, it’s more likely that I’ll initially approach it with the conventional teaching ways and then let the group discuss, sometimes it’s easier to understand from your peers, and I’ll observe how they make it make sense to you.
Most lessons will probably be held at my university, I love booking study rooms at the library, they have all have boards too. So it’s pretty handy, I could come pick you up.
Also, I am aware science is very draining if you haven’t found that point of enjoyment yet, so I’ll be here if you need some emotional coaching too! Book me as your like coach! You can pay 5h and I’m your feel good mentor for the week! Send you texts and check up on you and even take you for some outdoor time!

Details
No travel costs if I’m already at uni! (Ie.: after a lecture) However I could call an Uber for you to meet me at my location (wether is at home or university) and that would be an additional cost, as well as if I meet you at your home.
Also, you can pay in bulk (ie.: 10h lesson) and split the time along the week (eg.: 3h Monday, 2h weds, 5h Friday)
