I am currently studying my Bachelor of Education at Murdoch University. I possess a distinction grade average an have a passion for teaching maths and English at a upper primary to lower secondary level. I focus on developing a student's authentic understanding of the concept they are learning. I believe in the 'do it once and do it right' teaching philosophy.

My methodology centres around developing an authentic understanding of the subject that I teach. Relating the learning to real-world examples, I strive to make the learning meaningful and engaging to the students that I teach. As with most adults, I believe that if the student/s I am teaching understand/s the value of the topic that they are learning, they are more likely to engage and consequently experience success.
