About Philip
Philip Yeboah is a British singer, vocal arranger, and accomplished performer based in Berkshire, England. With a passion for music that transcends genres, Philip has built a remarkable career marked by vocal excellence, dynamic performances, and innovative arrangements. As a founding member of the multi-award-winning vocal group Vadé, Philip has made a significant mark on the music scene. Vadé rose to prominence after winning Sky One’s Sing: Ultimate A Cappella in 2017. Their success led to a nationwide tour, where their signature blend of harmonies and creativity captivated audiences across the UK. Philip’s vocal talents have been showcased on some of the world’s biggest stages, including the BRIT Awards, where he performed alongside global icons such as Stormzy, Justin Timberlake, and The 1975. His work extends beyond live performances, contributing his voice to major film projects such as Black Panther (2018) and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022), as well as TV shows featured on the BBC. In addition to his vocal artistry, Philip’s work as an arranger has earned him widespread recognition, particularly on social media. Vadé’s duet arrangements have garnered millions of views on TikTok, further solidifying their influence in the a cappella and contemporary music scenes. Philip’s collaborations include working with industry legends such as Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men and Grammy-winning producer Eric Blu2th Griggs (known for his work with Dr. Dre). In 2022, Vadé released their Christmas single, “Christmas Wish,” which brought together the timeless beauty of a cappella harmonies with heartfelt holiday spirit. My approach to vocal tutoring is a combination of structured technique, creativity, and personalised attention. I focus on developing strong vocal foundations through breathing techniques, pitch control, and vocal placement, while also incorporating music theory and contemporary vocal arranging to enhance overall musicality. My lessons are typically fun and enjoyable but remain direct and goal-oriented, ensuring that students stay engaged while making steady progress. I maintain a patient and supportive environment, allowing students to build confidence as they develop their skills. Each session typically lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the student’s needs. I tailor my lessons to meet individual goals, whether working with a choir, a family, or providing one-on-one sessions. Over the past 15 years, I’ve gained extensive experience teaching a wide range of students, which has deepened my understanding of how to adapt my methods to different learning styles. My lessons are designed for students aged 8 and above, making them accessible to beginners and more experienced singers alike.
