I have seen good results with activity-based learning that is aimed at making students active participants in their own learning. This maybe in the form of experiments, practical examples or even targeted learning games and class discussions. I have found that students will learn better when their interest in the subject matter is maintained. I use these tools in maintaining their interests in the lessons.
