About Nicole
I am a seasoned reading and writing teacher with extensive experience supporting students across a range of learning needs. I specialize in structured literacy and am highly knowledgeable in Orton-Gillingham–based instruction, including the Wilson Reading System and Wilson Fundations. My approach is explicit, systematic, and multisensory, with a strong focus on building foundational skills in decoding, encoding, fluency, and written expression. I am passionate about helping students gain confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of reading and writing. I currently hold a BA in both Elementary Education and Special Education, as well as an MS in Literacy. I have worked with students on all levels of education.
