About Joseph
Joe Gaffney is a professor in Higher Education in English and Business Fundamentals for five years. Previously, he was a senior executive with extensive experience in sales, marketing, leadership and customer negotiations and satisfaction. For over three decades, Joe built relationships with key clients and suppliers, negotiated and written complex client agreements, and provided strong and positive business leadership within various functional areas of the companies for which he worked. He also developed strong communication skills in his staff and, as a professor, does so currently with his students at the university level.

The main goal that inspires me to instruct is to help young men and women develop into well-balanced, responsible and mature adults. Achieving this goal will be evidenced when students are able to approach any issue or topic, whether personal, professional, or community-based, with confidence, curiosity and an open mind. My approach to accomplish this goal is to help students identify and verify aspects of their characters - in essence, create and/or affirm self-awareness.
