About Jason
My support sessions are for students who struggle with GCSE English and those who need to nail a solid pass mark to move on to college without the burden of a resit.
Before qualifying as a Teacher, I was a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant for three years, so I am well-equipped to help tailor-make each lesson to students’ needs such as Dyslexia, ADHD, Chronic Anxiety and Autism.

I believe that every student, no matter what challenges they may be facing, deserves to be supported through their GCSEs. Whether a student suffers from ADHD, Autism, Chronic Anxiety or any other SEN condition, English GSCE should still be a course that they are supported with and are studying towards.
Some students who don’t attend school, however, find themselves being left behind. The sheer amount of content learnt and the fast-paced nature of English GCSE means that it doesn’t take long for a student’s confidence to drop if they have missed a chunk of time. Students then may fall into a cycle of anxiety as the daunting prospect of catching up sits on top of their original layer of school-related anxiety. Therefore, they don’t attend school and the cycle continues and they get further and further behind.
