About Casey
My name is Casey Harris, I’m 23 years old, I grew up in San Diego in a large family that taught me the value of being a good person above all, and secondarily, the value of a good education. I have many references that can attest to my character and am in good standing with every place I have worked at. I’ve been employed at Mathnasium, and am currently employed by San Diego State University to tutor at the Math Learning Center, where I am certified to tutor a range of courses. Both jobs require a rigorous testing and interview process. In my experience with middle to high schoolers at Mathnasium and with college to middle-aged students at SDSU, I’ve honed my abilities to work with, and relate to all kinds of students, and have discovered a love for math that is picked up by everyone I work with. I’m easy to work with, patient, knowledgeable, and ready to meet you wherever you are in your studies.

I will tutor any subject I have tutored in the past, which is a whole lot, but I do not provide study material. You can bring me homework, study guide, practice test, practice problems, SAT prep books, or whatever material you want, and I guarantee we will master it. I've been tutoring a while, I can improvise a lesson plan on the spot, for example when I realize a student is missing some knowledge in another subject that is needed for what we are working on, which happens a lot while tutoring, I just can't guarantee it, and I wouldn't be comfortable advertising that students come to me with no study material. Lessons with me are comfortable, engaging, and effective.
