About Mayra
Coming from a very simple background, I was lucky enough to find the right people who helped me through the challenges to reach my current position. My way of retributing the favour is to help people around me as much as I can.
I am very proud to have successfully taught undergraduate and graduate classes during my PhD, as well as supervised/mentored several students throughout my career.

After mentoring several undergrad and grad students, I realized that there is not a "one-method-fits-all".
We will work together to find the best teaching style that matches your learning needs.
Some topics could be a little abstract to learn in theory, but I always try to find the best analogies and practical examples, since I am myself more of a visual learner.
