About Hannah
I hold a Master’s degree in science and am currently pursuing my PhD, giving me advanced training in scientific concepts, research, and problem-solving. My graduate-level education has provided a strong foundation in subjects such as biology, chemistry, and related sciences, and I am experienced in breaking down complex topics into clear, understandable explanations. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in science, improve their understanding of difficult material, and develop strong study and critical-thinking skills.

A typical tutoring session starts with a quick check-in to see what the student is learning in class and what topics they find challenging. I then explain the concept step-by-step using clear examples and simple explanations to build understanding. Next, we work through homework problems or practice questions together so the student can apply the concept. The student then tries a few problems independently while I guide and support them if needed. At the end of the session, we review the key ideas and discuss study strategies to help the student feel more confident and prepared for quizzes and exams. My goal is to strengthen understanding, improve problem-solving skills, and build confidence in science.
