About James
I have been teaching for four years. I have taught for three years at American International schools fin both Bahrain and Suriname. My experiences include three years teaching Earth and Life Sciences at the middle school level, as well as one year as a combined 3-4 grade teacher. Within that time I have administered School wide science fairs, taught to a Challenger center curriculum as well as prepared students for the Hawaii State Science Fair. I have taught in a variety of classrooms ranging form 12 students to 28 students. In all I have taught around 300 students.

I Graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelors of Science in Natural Resources Environmental Management. I have also completed online teacher certification for k-6.
I enjoy teaching in a collaborative model. I also chunk readings, as well as often use jigsaws in my classes. I understand that the language of science is often difficult to comprehend therefore I spend the time to dissect any area that is being studied.
