About Kathleen
I have been a science teacher and an after school tutor for the past 18 years. I have also taught in the field as an environmental educator and as a scuba instructor. I recently relocated to Washington from Hawaii and I appreciate the beauty of both environments. I love the ocean and the great outdoors. I also love to teach and share the knowledge I have gained both in classrooms and through experiences. I look forward to meeting you!

I use a patient and friendly approach in helping students to understand content. I ensure that students experience success by meeting them where they are and moving forward from there. No high stakes or stress! I have worked mostly with middle and high school students but have also worked with upper elementary students and am comfortable with a wide range of levels and subjects.
