Analogies are my favorite way of explaining topics. Placing them in context of a story or creating a story out of the text makes learning more exciting and understandable
With regard to calculations, I use the method of reading and understanding the concept and then practicing under the same concept to master each detail in order to apply these concepts to bigger problems.
It's all in the art of understanding and practicing which I can assist greatly with.
