About Jacob
Hi! I'm Jacob and I'm a student-athlete at a top liberal arts college. I love mathematics, science, and creative writing, and am currently in my freshman year doing a STEM major. I value not just learning academically, but also teaching students how to learn on their own, study, and become more intellectually independent.

During my lessons, I aim to make things as interactive as possible, not just to provide information, but to guide students toward the correct answers by teaching them the process. In mathematics lessons, I will most often start with going over what may be confusing or unclear to the student in their coursework. Then, I will provide them with specific, tailored questions to target their specific skills. Finally, at the end of every lesson, I'll make sure the student is able to apply what they learned to their thinking process. My lessons are for anyone from K-12, though my specialty is with high school students aiming for good grades and standardized test scores to help with college admissions.
