About Amy
My academic journey has not been without its challenges. While I had a strong interest in science during high school, I initially struggled with effective study techniques. Despite these difficulties, I remained committed and worked hard, which ultimately led me to the final year of my PhD in Molecular Medicine and Pathology at the University of Auckland. I owe much of my progress to the guidance and support of my tutors and family. Having experienced academic struggles firsthand, I understand how overwhelming it can feel—and I am committed to supporting students in the same way I was supported.
