About Mae
I am a Chemistry instructor with 16 years of teaching experience and a BA in Chemistry. I specialize in making complex chemical concepts simple, clear, and engaging for learners at school and university levels. My teaching approach focuses strongly on quantum chemistry, where abstract ideas are explained through structured visual models and step-by-step theoretical reasoning. I help students build a deep understanding of atomic structure, electron behavior, and molecular interactions.

My teaching approach in Chemistry focuses on clear understanding, strong fundamentals, and consistent practice. I cover core areas such as physical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and biochemistry. I also support students preparing for AP Chemistry with structured guidance and focused content revision. Complex topics like reaction mechanisms, equilibrium, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry are broken into simple steps for easy understanding. I use real life examples and logical explanations to make theory more meaningful.
Problem-solving is a key part of my method. Students are trained to handle numerical questions, multi-step reasoning, and application-based problems with confidence. I include experimental analysis and lab-based concepts to help learners understand practical chemistry better. Regular targeted drills are given to improve speed and accuracy. Practice tests are designed to match exam level difficulty and improve performance under time pressure.
