Hi, I’m Aarushi! I am an Honors student at Purdue University with a passion for helping students find their voice through the power of the written word. I don't believe in lecturing you on how to write. Instead, I act as a thought partner and a reflector. My techniques include: We move beyond "Show, Don't Tell." I challenge you to identify the specific textures, scents, and sounds that anchor a reader in a scene. If a sentence feels flat, we "zoom in" on a single object. How does a cracked porcelain cup represent a character’s internal state? We bridge the gap between your feelings and your words. If you want to "see yourself" in the text, we look for the metaphors that feel most authentic to your lived experience. I provide instant, gentle feedback on drafts, suggesting three different "directions" a sentence could go so you can choose the one that fits your vision.
