About Emma
Hi, I'm Emma! I am a professional saxophonist in the London jazz scene with experience gigging and teaching.
I recently graduated from Trinity Laban conservatoire on the jazz course, and am interested in a wide range of music. I grew up with a love for music and have been playing saxophone and piano since primary school and later started playing clarinet and flute. Now, I lead my own small band and co-lead a big band that I write for and gig with around London as well as playing in a range of other projects.
I have always had a big passion for music education really enjoy teaching, looking to bring confidence and inspire people to play music.

I look at tailoring lessons to each individual, to help you achieve your goals and play the music you love. We will outline what you want to get from the lessons and then set a fun, achievable path to reach your goals. Our lessons can look at any of the following:
- learning and playing repertoire
- jazz improvisation
- harmony and theory knowledge
- technique
- sound work
- composition/arranging
-piano
-doubling on other woodwinds
-reading sheet music
we can look at learning things for fun as well as preparing for gigs/performances and assessments.
Lessons can be online or in person (in London)
I have experience teaching a wide range of ages and abilities both in a 1-1 and group setting, with the aim to make all my lessons accessible for your needs!
