About Michael
With over 15 years of experience in education, I’m a certified educator specializing in SAT prep, executive function coaching, AP History, K–8 Math and ELA, and special education. I bring a deep understanding of how students learn — and how to help them succeed — based on my background as both a classroom teacher and school leader.
Professionalism and reliability are at the core of my tutoring approach. I’m punctual, communicative, and focused on helping each student grow. I tailor every session to the individual, setting clear goals and adapting my methods to fit different learning styles and needs.

I offer personalized, results-driven tutoring across a range of subjects including SAT prep, AP History, K–8 Math and ELA, executive function coaching, resume writing, and leadership development. Each session is tailored to the student’s unique needs, learning style, and goals.
For SAT prep, I focus on strategy—not just content. Students learn how to approach each section with confidence through targeted practice and personalized feedback that builds both skills and stamina.
In AP History, I help students move beyond memorization to master historical thinking, essay writing, and DBQ analysis. My goal is to make history engaging and help students earn top scores while developing critical thinking that lasts.
I also support students in resume writing, working one-on-one to craft polished, professional resumes that showcase their strengths for internships, jobs, or college applications.
My executive function and leadership coaching is designed to build key life skills: organization, time management, communication, and problem-solving. I coach students to take ownership of their learning and develop habits that lead to long-term success.
For K–8 learners, I create a warm, supportive environment where students can build confidence in math and English fundamentals. I use interactive techniques to make learning fun, effective, and meaningful.
