About Madison
I am an SAT tutor with 10 years of experience and a PhD in English Studies. I enjoy helping students improve their reading, writing, and communication skills while preparing them for academic success through thoughtful and structured learning.
My teaching style combines careful planning, supportive guidance, and continuous encouragement. I believe every learner benefits from lessons that balance critical thinking, creativity, and practical examination strategies while building confidence step by step.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading world literature, studying communication research, and exploring different styles of academic writing. These interests allow me to create engaging lessons that inspire students to express themselves with clarity and confidence.

My SAT lessons are created to help students become skilled readers, thoughtful writers, and confident communicators through steady practice and clear guidance. We work on reading comprehension, literacy development, creative writing, English literature, vocabulary building, grammar improvement, speech delivery, and oratory skills using engaging texts and practical activities. Every lesson encourages learners to understand ideas deeply before choosing answers, helping them build confidence while improving their academic performance. I believe strong language skills grow through regular practice and meaningful discussion rather than memorization alone.
As students continue learning, we explore passage analysis, rhetorical techniques, literary themes, persuasive writing, evidence-based reading, sentence improvement, public speaking, and timed practice exercises. I guide learners through different strategies that improve accuracy while maintaining confidence under examination conditions. Detailed feedback, revision sessions, and interactive discussions strengthen comprehension, writing quality, and critical thinking throughout every stage of preparation.
My goal is to help students approach the SAT with confidence while developing language skills that remain valuable beyond the examination. Every lesson strengthens communication, reasoning, and independent thinking.
