About Alphonse
Hi! I am a qualified and experience French teacher. I am also a French native speaker.
I am passionate about teaching French and enjoy introducing students to its diversity and richness. I believe in a student-centred learning environment, and that is why I use praise and constructive comments to support and encourage all students. Progress is closely monitored and students are allowed to discover and fulfil individual talents. I have been enriched personally and learnt much from their diverse backgrounds, cultures and needs. In order to challenge and stretch every single learner I make significant use of data I set for them to encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning and allow them to achieve their own personal targets. The use of appropriate data and school data(for school learners) help me to set tasks which are appropriate for the range of ability, making use of differentiated materials for Gifted and Talented and those with SEN.
I am happy to work with beginners, GCSE + A-Level candidates and advance learners.
