About Samantha

My name is Jillina and I am a non-traditional student at Rutgers University, Camden. I'm an English and Digital Studies dual major. I work at the Writing and Design Lab where I tutor both writing and design projects across all majors. I volunteer with Mighty Writers, where I help children from kindergarten to 12th grade develop writing and communication skills.

About the lesson

My biggest strength is getting to know my students and teaching them from the level they are at, without judgment or regard for where they "should" be. I work with patience and empathy for my students to ensure that they find success in their educational pursuits. Come learn to find joy in the writing process at all levels of experience and build important communication skills!
