About Amanda
I am an English graduate from a Russell Group university with over six years’ experience in professional writing, editing, communications and content development. Throughout my career, I have written and reviewed a wide range of materials, including articles, reports, case studies, newsletters and internal documents, which has given me a strong understanding of grammar, structure, tone and clear written communication.
I can support students with English Language and Literature at GCSE and A-level, as well as younger learners who need help building confidence in reading and writing. I can also help with essay planning, analysis, paragraph structure, creative writing, proofreading and exam preparation.
I have completed a Certificate in Therapeutic Skills and Studies with the Metanoia Institute, which strengthened my active listening, empathy and communication skills. My approach is patient, calm and encouraging, and I adapt lessons to each student’s level, learning style and goals. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing confidence in their abilities.

**Russell Group English graduate with professional writing experience offers English tutoring for primary, GCSE and A-level students, including essay writing, literature analysis and exam preparation.**
I provide supportive and personalised English lessons tailored to each student’s level, confidence and learning goals.
