About Eliott

Hello there! I'm Eliott, full-time violinist and am very passionate about showing you how interesting, stimulating and accessible violin playing actually is! Having taught violin for more than 8 years now, I am very happy to see most of my students look forward to their lesson, show interest and are proud of their progress. I have worked with students from all age groups, levels and students with special needs but in all cases I will adapt to the students’ ambition, capabilities, interests and mindset in order to extract your full potential and help you grow efficiently as an instrumentalist.

About the lesson

I am an extremely adaptable teacher, I will be very reactive to the students’ progress goals and am very good at motivating/inspiring students to get involved in the process of playing. I am demanding in the lessons yet I sense the limitations of the students and will go out of my way to explain/experiment in different manners whenever the results expected by the student and me aren’t achieved. I mostly see the lesson as a collaborative problem solving, where the students present me a problem of theirs that we try to free them from together. I insist on the idea that we work TOGETHER towards the students' progress and my approach requires the student to take interest in the discipline. The end goal is to free the student from the limitations imposed by technique so they can enjoy playing as much as possible.

Reviews

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience had by the students of Eliott.
