About Sam
I learned chess as a young boy with my grandfather, taking a long break after he passed away. I began training more after rediscovering my passion for chess during my undergraduate science degree. While attending a teacher's college in New Zealand, I entered a university chess tournament and found myself on top of the leaderboard. I now hope to combine my teaching degree and my love for chess to show the world this complex game, and what it can do for their mind.
