About Sam
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering and a Master's degree in Advanced Robotics. Throughout my academic journey, I consistently achieved top results and earned merit-based scholarships. This track record has given me a deep understanding of what it takes to master a rigorous engineering syllabus and excel in demanding exams.
Beyond my academic background, I bring extensive hands-on experience as a Robotics Engineer. My technical portfolio features projects such as Model-Free Neural Network Visual Servoing for a 6-DOF Manipulator, an ESP32-based SCARA Robot with LiDAR Integration, an Autonomous Mobile Robot for Maze Navigation, and Central Pattern Generators for Bipedal Robot Simulation. Alongside my work with physical hardware, I have deep practical expertise in industry-standard simulation and modelling environments, including ROS 2, MATLAB/Simulink, Gazebo, CoppeliaSim, and Simscape Multibody.
I tutor because I enjoy sharing what I have learned, using my direct experience in the lab and in simulation to show how theoretical mechanics, kinematics, and control actually operate in real-world technology. My goal is to break down complex concepts that once took me time to master, making the learning process clearer, highly practical, and much less stressful for my students.
