About Christopher

I recently graduated from Maynooth University with a 2.1 degree in Robotics and Intelligent Devices, a course that demanded strong problem-solving skills and a solid grounding in math throughout. Alongside my studies, I worked as a lab demonstrator for undergraduate engineering classes and as head demonstrator at a summer coding and robotics camp, giving me hands-on experience explaining technical concepts to students of different ages and abilities.

I've always enjoyed math, both for its own sake and for how useful it becomes once you see how it connects to real problems in engineering and technology. I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping students not just get through their exams but actually understand the material, so the skills stick with them beyond the Leaving Cert.

About the lesson

As a recent Maynooth University graduate with a 2.1 degree in Robotics and Intelligent Devices, I understand the importance of building strong mathematical skills and exam confidence. My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, whether they need help understanding difficult topics, improving problem-solving techniques, or preparing for the Leaving Certificate. I focus on breaking down and explaining concepts clearly, working through exam-style questions, and teaching proven strategies to maximise marks.

Lessons are typically one hour long, and I ask students to let me know beforehand which topics they'd like to cover so each session can be planned around what they actually need help with. They're suitable for Leaving Certificate students of all abilities, from those aiming to pass to those targeting a H1 or H2. I believe students learn best in a relaxed, supportive environment where they can ask questions freely, make mistakes without judgement, and build confidence in their maths ability.
