BSN RN, CCRN-CMC-CSC, PCCN, TNCC, FCCS With 12 years of nursing experience, I bring a deep understanding of clinical practice and patient care to the learning environment. Throughout my career, I have earned multiple nursing certifications that reflect both my clinical expertise and commitment to lifelong learning. My passion for education and teaching has been a driving force in my journey as a preceptor, mentor, and nurse leader. I’ve had the privilege of guiding new nurses and students, helping them bridge the gap between theory and practice with confidence and compassion. As a tutor, I draw from this extensive experience to create supportive, engaging, and personalized learning experiences that will empower you to succeed!

About the lesson

For RNs & LPNs! As an RN with 12 years experience and certifications in critical care, progressive care, trauma nursing, and cardiac medicine and surgery, I am an experienced nurse leader and preceptor with a passion for teaching and mentoring nursing students and graduates to help them succeed! I know from my own personal struggles how hard it can be to get ahead in nursing school. I was devastated when I got a 600 the first time I took the HESI. We were allowed 3 chances to pass--otherwise we didn't graduate. I created a study plan for myself and I was determined to score an 850 (which was my nursing school's required passing grade) on the second try. By following my rigorous study plan, I was able to score a 900 just one month later on the second try! I used this same study plan to pass the NCLEX-RN on the first try! I will help you study for your undergraduate nursing classes and your HESI/NCLEX! I will help you with:
- Foundations/Fundamentals of Nursing
- Pathophysiology
- Cardiology/EKG interpretation
- ACLS/BLS
- Critical Care/Med-Surg
- Pharmacology
- Critical thinking/clinical reasoning
- Adult health assessment
- NCLEX/HESI prep.

Einstein said, "If you can't explain it to a six year old, you don't understand it yourself." If you are able to teach a topic, you know it. My goal is for you to be able to teach that concept back to me, critically think through the process, and understand WHY you got the answer correct. We will go through the material together and gain a true understanding of each concept. And importantly, we will have fun doing it!
