About Anjali
It might be scary to think that I am still a high school student( going into senior year) but it is actually a good thing. All the material that you are struggling to grasp is still so fresh in my mind. I am so eager to share the techniques, skills, and tricks you as a student need to acquire to be successful. I have worked with all different types of students and from various places around the world. I am devoted to help you as a student feel comfortable and confident in your studies, that is why I am a math and history tutor for my school as a well as a guided clear tutor for kids around the world.

I am a rising senior with a 4.0 and various APs and honors courses under my belt. I can teach almost any math course like algebra, algebra 2, geometry, AP stat, and all math courses that were taught before high school level. I also can teach history 1, history 2, AP US History and the courses that preceded high school level. As for my approach as a tutor, I like to keep things fun but still challenging. A lesson plan as a tutor for guided clear, a tutoring company I worked with, looked like an ice breaker between me and the tutee like a game of two truths and one lie, to get to know one another and feel a bit more comfortable. As the lesson started I would as if there is any specific work they would like to go over. After, I would put to use a slideshow that consists of practice problems or questions that we can go over, some together and some as an individual. To wrap up the session I introduce a quick enrichment game like kahoot, gimkit, battleship, that aligned what we learned in the tutoring session but in an interactive and fun way. As a student myself, I have struggled with school and have seen my fair share of tutors. The ones that made a lasting impact and actually helped me become a better student were the tutors who made learning fun and not seem like a chore.
