About Whitney
My expertise spans enzymes, metabolism, food webs, and energy flow. Honestly, biology is often taught as a memorization task rather than a scientific process.
I combine my degree in chemical engineering with 12 years of coaching to change that perspective. I teach DNA, RNA, mitosis, meiosis, and evolution with a focus on logic. I have worked with over 900 students to refine their grasp of the scientific method and data analysis. I enjoy seeing students finally connect plant biology to real-world outcomes.
