About Ying
Violin has been my primary instrument since I was 4 years old. You will benefit from my 13 years of experience as a Chicago Symphony musician and my degree from the Rice University Shepherd School. I focus on scales and arpeggios, grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity, spiccato and staccato bowing, bowing technique, left hand agility, posture and hold, tuning by ear, ear training, and tone production.
Discipline is essential. It is time to work.
