About Taryn
I’ve taught for 25 years across the spectrum of the high school grades as well as college composition, and college level literature. I have experience with special education students, learning disabilities, AP studies, and everything in between. There’s nothing better in the world than watching a student have that “aha moment” and seeing them work independently on difficult and strenuous material.

I have taught in a school that consistently scores as one of the top goals in the country. My students have gone on to MIT, Princeton, Johns Hopkins, Rutgers, Harvard, and many more. My instructional focus has always been on careful comprehension, critical thinking skills, and clear communication.
