About Susan
There is nothing like that "aha" moment when a student just 'gets it', whether it realizing they are reading something they actually understand, or looking at something and realizing that they CAN do it! Reading is a basis for many other skills, and I have had many years of experience where I've seen students realize that they aren't just learning to read, but reading to learn as well!

Lessons will be based on skills you already have, from learning the basics of phonics to reading skills that include comprehension and even writing expression skills. These lessons will be created just for what you want and need to learn. Your first lesson will be an interview to find out what reading skills need to be worked on (approximately 15 - 60 minutes, and free of charge.) After that, lessons will be in 1/2 hour increments 2-4 times per week.
