Personal Profile
I am Dr. Monojyoti Dey, Ph.D. in Plasma Physics from Gauhati University, Guwahati India. Teaching being my passion, I taught Class – VIII to XII standard students and also Graduate and Undergraduate Level students in a College. While working as a scientist in a Department of Atomic Energy Institute under government of India I had the opportunity to interact with physics students from different level including taking classes for students before their induction into Ph.D. program. All through my interactions with students were mostly classroom based but I am quite confident of my success in Online Teaching as well.

Methodology
While teaching, I categories the students as per their academic level and start with fundamentals of understanding Units and Dimensions of physical quantities. In the next stage, I define physical laws in topics like General Physics, Electricity (statical and current), Atomic & Molecular Physics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Nuclear Physics etc. and explain with full clarity the significance of such laws and how these are applied to explain various physical phenomena happening around us. In the next stage I dissect fully, various physical phenomena and obtain mathematical equations which govern these and make graphical presentation of equations to enable the students to grasp the problem fully after which I guide students to solve good number of topic related numerical problems.
My students find my classes very exciting and they score high in their exams. Often I narrate history of scientific invention and discoveries which the scientists across the globe have comprehended and make the students understand that various topics (laws) in physics are not isolated but intimately related.
