About Vicki
As a retired school administrator and K-12 teacher, I have experienced students from all walks of life and academic levels. Starting as a kindergarten teacher, I developed a keen understanding of core skills needed for success in reading and socialization/communication. The experience in early childhood education made my transition easy to middle school, clearly identifying the gaps in the core skills students needed to help improve reading, writing, and communication. After retiring from K-8 and K-8 administration, I found my new passion in high school special education. Here I quickly realized my experience with K-8 academic core content, experience with students with a wide range of disabilities (both academic and social), and understanding of parent concerns with students on IEPs led me to dedicating myself and career to ESS students. I would love the opportunity to become part of your child’s educational journey. A journey where goals are set and celebrated. A journey where parents share the successes and know their child is growing and feeling like a winner every day!
