I am a retired elementary school teacher and reading specialist with over 35 years of experience . I am also a mother of a dyslexic son who understands the challenges encountered in learning to read and succeeding in school. I have done private tutoring with great success.

My teaching method is a combination of available research based methods proven to be effective with reading disabilities and understanding the emotional needs of each student. Each student is assessed and instruction is designed to meet individual needs. I will also give parent support and resources to enhance the tutoring and ensure greater success.
