About Elaine
I trained as high school English teacher, and then became a rabbi/educator later in life. Additionally, I have a Masters degree in Education and in Bible studies. I have been tutoring privately for over 25 years and have helped hundreds of students. I believe in an individualized approach, so first I explore learning style, learning challenges, and goals with each student. Then I will tailor my tutoring methods to best match the needs of each student. Homework is essential in individualized tutoring, especially when a foundation must be laid on which to build skills. I enjoy supporting students in achieving their goals.
