Mr. Allison was my favorite physics tutor during secondary school for a variety of reasons. The most important reason was that he is super knowledgeable, and had a very systematic way of teaching the course content. Being an IB Physics course, he was able to ensure the success of the class through his teaching methods by using a mixture of in-class demonstrations and explanations of theory to reinforce our understanding of the content. He also showed great care and passion for student success, and because of this, I think he would be a fantastic tutor for any student!

Mr. Roger Allison was my IGCSE Physics and Biology teacher during A.Y. 2021-2022 as well as my AS Level Physics teacher during A.Y. 2022-2023. He has had years of experience as a teacher. It is evident on the results of his students that he is dedicated and willing to guide his students to success. He would prepare various resources for his students before the lesson starts. One of which are powerpoint slides per topic that covers the specification for students to use as revision. Another are worksheets and unit past papers that he would print beforehand and distribute to his students as soon as they enter his room. For every practical, he would meticulously prepare the experimental set up before lesson and would do a trial on his own to ensure that it will work for his students. He would approach a student that needs help on a past paper question and carefully guide them through the steps to be able solve what is being asked. He is open to any discussions and questions with regard to the topic as he would be more than happy to explain in detail for his students to understand. As a result of being taught by him, I have achieved a grade of 9 on both IGCSE Biology and IGCSE Physics. In addition, I have achieved a grade of A on my AS Level Physics.
