"Before we begin, we sit down to discuss your specific goals during a free trial lesson to check your range and technical needs. I consider the nuances of your chosen genre, whether that is classical or pop, to ensure our work together aligns with your personal artistic identity.
Because I hold an MMus degree, I emphasise the importance of healthy technique while exploring vibrato control and belting as distinct, manageable tools. You will observe how I connect the rhythm of your text to the melody, effectively drawing on the linguistic precision I gained from my modern languages background. We focus on clear, actionable adjustments that help you understand the mechanics of your voice. I hope to provide a space where your performance feels both authentic and technically grounded."

"Breath support resonates like a bow across a cello string in my studio. My path started with an MMus from Trinity Laban and a grounding in languages at Oxford and Cambridge.
This unique fusion allows me to teach harmony, phrasing, and vocal range extension with academic precision. I have spent 5 years refining how I explain resonance to adults and exam candidates. Performance confidence is a physical state of being. You will find that I prioritise structure for those who have spent years singing alone.
